I've seen it all before,
I've heard the harshest of words,
I've tasted the most bitter of bitter defeats,
And received the coldest of all cold shoulders.
The walls have caved in,
Destroying everything that has been so masterfully built up,
Reducing it to a pile of meaningless ruble.
I cannot be bothered with trivial mishaps.
There's no room for trial and error.
Everything has to be beyond flawless.
The time to be rebuild has come.
And I must embrace the task with open arms and mind.
The future doesn't matter now.
I am too focused on today.
Today things have to happen,
Good things,
Today I have to succeed,
If I don't there will be no tomorrow.
Good girls gone bad
Once they were innocent, but time past & they became someone new Thought they had it all figured out and knew exactly what to do. Grew up fast & in their minds; "girls had to be their prettiest all the time". Sweet little girls aren't forever: They use to like smelling flowers & playing with dolls, now she's out late with boys not thinking about anything at all. To them nothing seems to matter, but little do they know those bad boys will make their hearts shatter... into tiny pieces they can't put back together & soon or later she is facing horrible weather... Sweet little girls aren't forever: Thinking they were very clever, but easily persuaded and awakened by reality she saw that her life and opportunities faded... Away it went like the sun in the sky, except it didn't come back and all Hopes & Dreams had died.
